Mosaic’s Coastal Education Center is an outdoor classroom located on Mosaic’s South Parcel Property just south of the Riverview plant and the Alafia River. A team of interested community members and Cargill employees worked together to create the environmental curriculum for the center, which will target fourth grade students. The name of the curriculum is "Where the River Meets the Bay" and was created by curriculum specialists in coordination with the local elementary school teachers and principals - and approved by the Hillsborough County schools.
